[24 Aug 2005|02:32pm] So last night was fun thanks again to my wonderful friends =)..Roxy / Drew’s house=Drunken fun. Throw in Mandi bartending and its on. haha. I’ve come to the conclusion that no matter who you are EVERYONE is superficial. I used to get mad at individuals because I believed they all were superficial but than I realized we all are superficial. I don’t know how many times I have been in a place and seen a non attractive guy and pointed him out without knowing him for all I know he could be my soul mate but I’d rather turn and look at the guy who will end up becoming a abusive husband but who cares right as long as he’s hot? I found some insight on a blog that really made me think How often do we look at someone and frown upon them without even knowing them? The reason we frown about them is only because we are programmed to have this idea of "perfection" that is set by the media. If everyone in the world had all the hair and makeup artists that the media portrays as perfect than we could all look at that but when all that glitz and glam is scarped away what is left? When will there be a standard set for personality? NEVER. why? Because we are all enthralled with outside beauty we all want to be with that person that makes us look good God forbid we are seen with someone whose is considered “non perfect” but makes us feel like a million dollars because we all know people who u will never see again in your life might think badly of you .
